The 2 subjects we will cover are:

Subject 1: Islamic Plan for Life

Topics include;

Unit 3: Individual Manners

  • The age of religious responsibility
  • The ritual prayers
  • Zakat
  • Cleanliness and beautification
  • Fasting
  • Food and Drink
  • Free Time

Unit 4: Social Manners

  • Congregational prayers and Friday prayers
  • The Hajj
  • Relations with opposite gender
  • Religious minorities
  • Commanding good and prohibiting evil
  • Peace and war
  • The environment

 

Subject 2: Introduction to Nahj al-Balaghah, based on Ayatullah Mutahhari’s Glimpses of Nahjul-Balagha 

There are no-prerequisites for this course, you are welcome to attend even if you have not attended previous Semester teachings with Hujjat Academy. There is no compulsory course fee. However a recommended voluntary donation will be much appreicated (voluntary fee of £20) – jazkallah khair
